Catholic Ethics

Description

This course provides an introduction to Catholic ethics (also known as “moral theology”) and how Catholic moral reasoning can inform both personal and collective responses to complex moral challenges. Case studies focusing on sexual ethics, medical ethics, environmental ethics, end-of-life ethics, the ethics of peace and the moral use of force, and social ethics, among others, will provide a basis for analysis and debate.
