Theology for Ministry
- Description
Offered as an initial elective for students who may be interested in pursuing graduate studies, this course aims to provide a condensed introduction to major themes in Catholic biblical studies and systematic theology as well as to the practices of theological reflection and discernment. Special emphasis will be placed on the relationship between core concepts and on the connection between course content and students’ ongoing practice of ministry. THEO 500 Theology for Ministry is an entry-level graduate course. It can only be taken as the first course in a master’s degree. It will be the student’s elective course. The Dean of Theology grants permission to register in this course. This course cannot count toward other credentials such as: the Catholic Core, a Graduate Certificate or a Graduate Diploma as these do not offer the option of an elective credit.
